Elta Tar controls and moisturizes for relief of psoriasis and eczema on skin and scalp. The cream melts on contact for deeper absorption and superior moisturizing. Elta Tar contains a strong non-prescription level of coal tar solution (10% LCD) to reduce cell proliferation. No staining or unpleasant odor. Elta Tar has 12 hours of moisturizing power. At the end of 12 hours, Elta Tar still holds 90% of the moisture in the skin to stop dryness, while improving flexibility and comfort.
Benefits
Use to help control psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis on skin or scalp. Melts into skin on contact. No greasy, sticky residue or strong odor. For scalp, massage into scalp before bed, cover with cap, wash out in the morning.
Directions
Apply to affected areas one to four times daily or as directed by a physician.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients: 10 % Topical Coal Tar Solution (2 % Coal Tar, Alcohol, Polysorbate 90) in the Elta Lite moisturizing base.
Inactive Ingredients:Moisturizing Elta base of Petrolatum, Paraffin, Mineral Oil, PVP Eicosene Copolymer.
